It’s difficult for a man who is receiving N500,000 naira monthly to see things same way like his friend who is receiving N80,000 monthly. They are friends, yes, but they are operating from different planes. There would surely be accusations of envy or belittlement or even cheating depending on who is concerned.
It’s difficult to send US$20,000 to a close friend or relation in the US to use his judgment and buy a good car for you whereas the guy in US does not even have up to US$1000 in his account. Na quarrel go end am I tell you. It could even be far worse if the fellow has his house in foreclosure, then, you are on your own.
Likewise you’ll be making a big mistake if you are sending money to your ‘brother’ in Nigeria for the construction of your house, whereas your ’brother’ ,is a man with 4 kids, who is just hustling in Nigeria. “Na world war 3 matter be dat ” I tell you. It could even be worse if your brother is struggling with how to pay his house rent and the children school fees. Dat ya house na photoshop house ooo!!!
Be very careful with a fellow who is looking so gentle or unassuming while proposing a very “lucrative business venture ” to you. It’s more delicate if the fellow is a member of your prayer group, choir or one innermost religious group dear to your heart. You could be a candidate for a spectacular dupe o!!
In doing things, reality and wisdom must guide our judgment. Stop doing things based on sentiments. It pays to avoid trouble….Hope it continues to be peaceful and gentle around you……Ewolewoooo!!!!
