Ewolewoo!!

There are so many things a lot of people are going through as we speak. Though they look elegant on the outside, but I tell you, looks can really be deceptive. The smiles could just be for your eyes only. It might not be funny I tell you.

You have people who have stopped taking phone calls because the demands on them from “everyone” has outstripped the supply into their pockets. No one wan understand say Ebuka don collect money yesterday, everyone wants his own o!! Their salaries are suddenly getting “attacked”. Who do you blame? I can’t blame him nor the people demanding. Everyone must survive o!!

You have families where wives are the bread winners, of course it takes glory of God for sanity to reign there. The traditional definition of marriage has been redefined in such instance. It doesn’t matter whether you like it or not, the fact on the ground demands reality. It now depends on how everybody can manage and control his/her ego because it is “situation critical”.

How about families where all d graduates are still looking for jobs? Mind you they are still liabilities to their pensioner parents. These parents must have been happy that they have trained their kids up to that level so are expecting the fruits of their labour. However it is back to “ajuaya”(apologies to my corpers!!). The pension money is for all!

These are the realities of our modern day. It is a reality we can see and feel around us. For anyone involved in this I can feel you. Is the situation Ideal? I say no!! Is it redeemable? I say yes. Can it be a quick fix? I can’t guarantee that. However, the only solution is to continue the push. The day you stop pushing, signals your end. You just can’t stop. Who knows, you can push up to your desired destination.. Then, everything becomes a story to be told.
