Pinnick: How to be a bad administrator…

0 86

I am a chelsea fan no doubt. I know a lot of my people who love Arsenal too. We all love to watch English Premiership. Infact on August 8th we are going to be glued to our screens watching the Premiership. It is glamour with the right spices to make it more fun to watch I tell you. Twale to the organisers of the show.

The real truth about the Premier league is simple: the football association of England want it to be so. They want the league to be a global brand with all the delicate infrastructures to project it in like manner. They are not thinking of their bank accounts or their estacodes. They are thinking about the marketability of the football league. Very interesting you would say.

Let’s now come back to our own obodo Nigeria. Do you know the whereabouts of Armaju Pinnick(the Nigeria Football Federation President) on august 2nd? Mind you; August 2nd was the day Arsenal played Chelsea for the community shield. Pinnick was not in any of the matches that Nigeria football league had to offer. He was not in Congo, where Nigeria played Congo for the under 23 Olympics qualifier. He was not in Equatorial Guinea where the Falcons played their counterparts. He was where? London!! Doing what? Watching Arsenal vs Chelsea in a community shield match. This is the character heading our Football. This is the individual that promised to take our football to Eldorado. He was nowhere to be found within Nigeria or with any of our teams.

He is not even ashamed that there was no home grown Nigerian talent in any of the teams he watched on sunday. He was less concerned that the league we are operating cannot export players that you would watch during the weekends in any of the top European leagues. He ran to London to watch a match when he had lots to do in Nigeria. To make matters worse, he said he went to meet Oliseh in London to discuss developmental ideas. I don’t get it, is he now a special adviser to oliseh? Oliseh has been given a job, he should be allowed to do his job. It is very simple!!

When the person in charge of our football starts thinking only about his bank accounts and estacodes then there is trouble. When the person who is expected to take our football to the English premiership state becomes more interested in the English premiership than the league he is about superintending, then, there is problem.

Hold on a bit, Pinnick sacked Keshi because he was interested in Cote d’voire job when he was supposed to be thinking about super Eagles, right? Then shouldn’t pinnick be sacked in the same vein? What is good for the goose……

Our Football needs a new direction definitely not with an individual like pinnick…..Ewolewooo!! #Ewolewoo!!
