When I said that in this political chess game Saraki, quite unfortunately to me not being one of his admirers, has shown far more deftmanship and ruthlessness in going for his game than Buhari, some disagreed.

Saraki knew that there was no way he could come for a meeting under this climate. He knew it’d be difficult for a minority party to claim Senate Presidency. He knew that it would be difficult to sit with the majority leader of the APC as his boss in the Senate. Yet he called for a meeting he knew very well he’d never attend.

What did he do? He just told his man Daura, the DSS director, who has supported Saraki in Frustrating the confirmation of Magu as the EFCC chairman to act. Oh Boy!!! Did Daura act? Daura just did spectacularly well in this regard. Now Saraki, didn’t need to tell anyone that he wouldn’t come for the meeting anymore.The meeting has gone with the winds!! If this is not the game of a master, what it is?

Do you need anyone to tell you how Saraki has penetrated the institutions of state controlled by Buhari? Buhari needs to wake up? He needs to shape up because the dangers are just there and with Saraki, I can’t guarantee anything.

I know Nyesom Wike(the Governor of Rivers State) wants Tambuwal for the Presidency. Saraki is another “mafioso” that would surely rock the boat.Is Wile ready for this? I doubt it. Is PDP ready for this? Time will tell..

For me the show is on…I see things in this perspective. For now it is Buhari vs Saraki…I don’t like Saraki and I wish he could be stopped. Can Buhari muster the strength to come up? Your guess is as good as mine…
