TB Joshua: The spiritual reality beckons…..

1 101

TB Joshua has realized something uncomfortable in spirituality; 1+1 is not necessarily 2, it could be 10, 1 million or even zero. When you predict ‘’spiritual things” with some form of “perceived certainty’’, or so you thought, you would always think you know God or the highest spiritual being. You would gloat about it. You would tell people about it. You would claim it. You would project it. Above all you would claim all the accolades that relates to it. These activities have been the lot of TB Joshua.

He has seen that there’s a limit to your claim to knowing mystery. You can guess it with some measure of correctness but that is where it ends. Once you continue to claim a 100% knowledge of spiritual mystery then you would get the embarrassment and disgrace that occurred when his 6 storey building killed 118 people in Lagos. This building collapsed within his compound. He neither saw it coming nor did he predict it in anyway. E nor see am at all!! It was a total collapse in his self-proclaimed ability to understand the mindset of God. He failed miserably thereby seeing the other side of embarrassment only reserved for fraudsters. It is an unfortunate turn-around I tell you.

He has seen the accolades that came with predicting super Eagles ouster from the nations cup and the condemnations of his spectacular failure in seeing the collapse of his own building. It only shows a hard fact: You can’t speak for God. You can’t claim you know the inner mind of God. You can’t predict with certainty about God. You are You. You cannot be God. God is God. Caution must always be your watchword in this complex relationship with god.

The issue of spirituality is embedded in mystery. We believe based on our faiths. We can only pray that the mystery embedded in our faiths rolls into our favour. Certainty is an ideal, but we live in a real world where 1+1 is not necessarily the ideal answer. TB Joshua has learnt that with the coroner report….

Hope it remains peaceful and gentle around you…..Ewolewooo!!!
